Charlie, the German short haired pointer disappeared in 2006 from his home in Mobile, Alabama. It took 10 years for Charlie to get reunited with his family. “I didn’t know how to react at first, it was shocking. Kind of overwhelming, but I’m glad that he is alive. I’d just like to get in his head to figure out where he’s been”, said Tracey Dove, this pointer’s owner.
Charlie was identified via microchip which contained correct owner information. “It was a goose-bump kind of moment”, said Renee Jones, who rescued Charlie.
